What is ‘not a distraction’?

Instagram is a distraction. Facebook is a distraction. Netflix is a distraction. This seems like common sense today.

The question is, is it really a distraction? Or is it just that with most influences around us asserting that it is a distraction, we have started believing that it is a distraction?

And if it were truly a distraction, then it means that there must be something else that we must have rather been doing that features as ‘not a distraction’, right?

Do we even know what counts as ‘not a distraction’ for us? Can we begin to seek that?

Dharma alone leads to a beautiful world. Not capitalism, not socialism, or anything else. This is the fundamental truth that drives me. I explore it fearlessly.
